The 2025 Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival Dog Trial is fast approaching! Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the home of Mitch Thomas (5317 Highway 397, Bell City LA 70-630). Entry will start at 9:00 a.m. Fee is $40.00 per dog entered. Trials begin at 10:00 a.m. 2 Stakes  CONTACT: Kerry Clark Picou 337-794-8064. Thank you and hope to see you there!

The 2025 Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival Trap Shooting and Quail Flush will be held on Saturday, January 11th on the fairgrounds. All shotguns are required to be carried in a case to enter fairgrounds. 

DUCK AND GOOSE CALLING

The 2025 Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival Duck and Goose Calling Contest will be held Saturday, January 11at 11:00 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Fairground Building (Enter through stairs on the west side door facing carnival. This is the only entry point). Registration: 10:30 a.m.

Competition Begins: 11:00 a.m.

Fee is $25.00 per division.

Age Divisions: Junior - Intermediate - Senior.

Calling Divisions: Duck - Snow Goose - Speckle Belly - Best All Around Caller.

The Gumbo Cook-Off will be Saturday, January 11 at 180 Henry Street, Cameron. Contestants arrive and set up at 5:30 a.m.  Samples ready to be submitted to judges at 11:00 a.m. and public invited to come to the tasting at 11:50 a.m. Winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m. at the stage. The 5k/1 Mile run will be Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. The route will be in Cameron, LA. The link will be posted soon.  5K/1 MILE Registration

Registration ends January 9 at 11:59 p.m.

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - $35.00 +$3.50 Sign Up Fee

5K Run/Walk - $35.00 + $3.50 Sign Up Fee

Registration the day of is $40.00.

Race day registration at 7:00 a.m. but will not include T-Shirt or Gift Bag.
