2024 Teen Miss Fur Queen
Charlee Bell

Charlee Nichole Bell is the 16-year-old daughter of Keith and Brandi Bell of Lacassine where she is an 11th grade student. Charlee is a member of the Lacassine High School Livestock Judging Team, varsity softball team, and varsity track team.  She lists her clubs and organization as 4-H, Beta Honors club, French club, and Student council. She is also a member of the American and Louisiana Simmental-Simbrah Association, as well as the Junior Show Team for Smith Genetics and Reavis Farms.

 

She is an honor roll student and was awarded the 1st and 2nd year Letter Award for Varsity Softball and Varsity Track. She currently serves as the FFA Vice President, Student Council Treasurer, is a member of the Top 4 LA FFA State Livestock Exhibition Team, a recipient of the LA State FFA Superintendent’s Award, and a Top 10 Overall Exhibitor at the American Junior Simbrah Roundup. She competes in leadership and speaking competitions, mentoring youth livestock exhibitors, showing Simbrah cattle, playing softball, shopping, crabbing, and hunting.

 

She volunteers for St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, Community Food Drive, Literacy Night, Veterans Day Celebration, The Magnolia Town Fall Market and Rocking the Runway Fundraiser for St. Mary’s Residential Training School. She was an instructor for the American Simbrah Round Up Novice Division Cow Camp.

Charlee was Top 15 in the Nation in the Sales Talk Competition at the National Classic Livestock Show and has won over 40 trophy belt buckles and numerous other awards exhibiting Simbrah Cattle.

 

Charlee’s future plans are to complete Cosmetology and Esthetician School with the goal of one day owning her own salon and boutique.
